Purpose
of the Registry
This Registry is a list of professionals who present themselves as
following the ethics and principles established by the Association for the
Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) and the standards established by the
Interagency Council. ATSA is
an international professional organization dedicated to the advancement of
professional standards and practices in the field of sexual offender evaluation and treatment.
ATSA is committed to the prevention of sexual assault through
effective management of sexual offenders.
All providers listed on the Registry are not members of ATSA.
However, by placing themselves on the Registry they assert
themselves as professionals who support and follow the ideals of ATSA and
also the other standards of the Registry as established by the Interagency
Council. The Interagency
Council provides this Registry in order to heighten awareness of whom in
the state of Louisiana has expressed to possess knowledge and experience
in the field of sexual offender treatment.
